The Pathare Prabhu Charities has been, since a very long time acknowledging the excellence of students through its annual award function.
We would now like to start holding a mirror to the community showing how its members are achieving recognition in the world in diverse fields and hold them up as a standard for the youth to emulate.
This page will go on listing people who have achieved excellence in their spheres of activity, no matter how diverse they may be.
We hope these examples will spur Prabhus on to achieve greater excellence in their chosen paths.

Dr. Nikhil Dhurandhar, Chairperson of Nutritional Sciences at Texas Tech University, has been honoured as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society for Nutrition (DFASN) — the highest recognition bestowed by the society for lifetime achievements in nutrition science. With over four decades of pioneering research in obesity and metabolic health, Dr. Dhurandhar is internationally recognised for his groundbreaking work exploring the link between viruses and obesity and for advancing compassionate, science-based understanding of obesity as a chronic disease.

In a remarkable testament to following one’s passion, Dr. Rajiv Vijaykar, a man of many talents, recently received the prestigious Swarna Kamal Award at the 69th National Film Awards for his book Music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal: The Incredibly Melodious Journey. With this, he became the first member of the Pathare Prabhu community to be bestowed with such an honour, blazing a trail for others to follow.
