Interest-Free Medical Loan Scheme

Pathare Prabhu Charities

Pathare Prabhu Charities offers interest-free medical loans of up to ₹5,00,000 to eligible members of the Pathare Prabhu community, subject to approval by the Trustees.

Who Can Apply?

• All persons born Pathare Prabhu.
• Women married to a Pathare Prabhu male.
• Women born Pathare Prabhu who marry outside the community. This facility does not extend to their spouses, children or their spouses’ parents.

Documents Required

Applicants must submit photocopies of the following documents:

• Medical documents: Medical reports, medical bills and hospitalisation report.
• Financial documents of both applicant and guarantor: Salary certificate, bank passbook, Annual Information Statement (AIS) and other relevant financial details.
• Identity documents of both applicant and guarantor: Aadhaar card and PAN card.

A guarantor with good credit standing is mandatory.

How to Apply

1. Submit the application with all required documents.
2. The Trust’s panel doctors will verify the medical reports and assess whether the procedure qualifies.
3. The Board of Trustees will scrutinise the application.
4. The applicant and guarantor must attend an interview with the Trustees when called.
5. Upon approval, the applicant must execute a Loan Agreement and the guarantor must sign a Deed of Guarantee.
6. The loan is disbursed after completion of these formalities.

Loan Repayment

The loan is interest-free. The amount sanctioned, repayment period and instalments will be decided by the Trustees based on the merits of each case.

Important: Loan approval is not automatic. All applications are subject to medical verification, scrutiny and the Trustees’ decision.
