Financial support for eligible community members undergoing cancer treatment
Cancer treatment can place a significant financial burden on families. Pathare Prabhu Charities Trust provides special financial assistance to eligible community members undergoing cancer treatment.
Who Can Apply?
Assistance is based on both family income and medical eligibility.
Annual Family Income | Maximum Assistance
Up to ₹50 lakh | Up to ₹25 lakh per year
Above ₹50 lakh and below ₹1 crore | Up to ₹10 lakh per year
The maximum assistance for one individual is ₹25 lakh per year.
Medical factors such as the nature and stage of cancer, treatment proposed will be considered.
What Is Covered?
Assistance is primarily towards eligible medical treatment expenses related to cancer.
Available medical insurance must be utilised first. Hospital stay and other non-medical expenses are generally not covered.
Documents Required
Applicants should submit:
– Aadhaar Card
– PAN Card
– Medical reports and treatment documents
– ITRs of all immediate family members for the previous 3 assessment years
– Proof of utilisation of medical insurance
– Any additional documents requested by the Trust
How Does the Process Work?
1. Apply
Submit a written request with the required documents.
2. Verification
The Trust reviews the medical and financial information.
3. Trustee Approval
The application is placed before the Trustees for consideration. Emergency cases may be considered earlier.
4. Assistance
Where possible, payment is made directly to the hospital. Reimbursement may be considered against original bills and supporting documents.

All disbursements are at the sole discretion of the Board of Trustees of the Pathare Prabhu Charities
