CA Pranali Saurabh Dharadhar, in February 2025, has been officially appointed as Managing Director of NKGSB Co-operative Bank, after leading the bank as Deputy MD since May 2024.

This appointment crowns a career of over 21 years in the banking sector where she has gathered expertise and excellence in many different facets of banking like Core Banking Operations, Audit, Finance & Taxation, Trade Finance, Risk Management, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance, and Credit Management

Pranali is a CA by education, a qualification she credits to the untiring encouragement of her mother. Pranali met her husband, Saurabh, during her CA articleship days and that friendship blossomed into marriage of 21 years now. Saurabh is also a CA by qualification and is holding the post of CFO and Ethics Officer in a Mahindra Group company. 

Though not a Prabhu by birth, she has been continually touched by, not only by the way her husband and in-laws have supported her in her career growth, but also the way the community recognizes and celebrates her achievements as if they were their own family victories (they are). Whether it was a small personal accomplishment or a major professional milestone, she found her new family always ready to applaud and encourage. Such genuine support has made each achievement feel even more special for her.

Pranali’s message to today’s youth is twofold. 

In the first place, she urges them to strive for excellence in whatever field they choose and invest in educating and training themselves in that field. In her life, she obtained a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from ACCA (U.K.), adding a global credential to her professional qualifications.

Secondly she urges them to recognize the need for prioritization. At each stage in your life, she believes that it is important to recognize that you may have to pause in one area to do justice to another and that is perfectly okay. Once again, she followed it in her personal life by taking a career break to be with her daughter, Aashvi, during her 9th and 10th standard.  Aashvi, has just recently cleared the ICSE examination with flying colors and is currently pursuing her education in the commerce stream.

When not working or tending to family needs, Pranali loves to travel as also cook and experiment with new flavours. But above all, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, whether it’s sharing a meal, exchanging stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company.

Pranali is thus the perfect balance between a Mother and a Managing Director as well as a truly, well grounded human being.
