Holika Dahan
Holika Dahan symbolizes the burning of Holika, who tried to kill her nephew Prahlad. Today, the fire symbolises many things — the triumph of good over evil, curtains on the old and a promise-filled beginning of the new, end of winter and the advent of spring, and the burning away of inner faults to purify and rejuvenate the self.
For the Pathare Prabhu Charities Trust, it also symbolizes our desire to be of more meaning to all of you, dear Prabhus. Yesterday, our Chairman, Mr. Uday Mankar performed the Holika Dahan Pooja at our Vyankatesh Temple and prayed for blessings for all of us.
The rest of the Trustees join him in wishing all of you a happy Holi.
As we are on the threshold of our 125th year, the Trust is planning many small events, we also request your blessings and enthusiastic participation in events and activities planned by the trust for all of you.
